The Miss Rodeo America organization began in 1955 for the purpose of choosing an ambassador to represent the sport of Professional Rodeo and the western way of life.
In 1998, the Miss Rodeo America Scholarship Foundation, Inc. was formed as an educational non-profit organization to develop a self-perpetuating scholarship fund.
Today, in partnership with Miss Rodeo America, Inc. the Scholarship Foundation has fostered countless young women as they pursue their career goals. Not only do that have a great love for the western industry, they also possess a keen sense of confidence in themselves. They are studied, quick thinkers and communicate their ideas with integrity and passion.
The Miss Rodeo America Scholarship Foundation, Inc. awards approximately $115,000 in scholarship dollars annually to participants of the Miss Rodeo America Pageant. SInce its inception the Scholarship Foundation has awarded nearly $2 million in scholarships!
